OUR RAW MATERIAL

Circular material with a long service life

We use polyethylene as the raw material in our products. Polyethylene is a circular material that does not emit any hazardous substances and can be recycled even after very long use.

Polyethylene has been the dominant raw material in pressure pipe systems for decades and has been developed and launched in various versions over the years, such as PE63, PE80 and PE100. PE100 RC was launched in 2005, which is the material we mainly use for our various pipe systems.

PE100 RC has more and stronger bonding between the molecules and produces pressure pipe systems with significantly higher resistance to slow crack growth – with 17 times the requirement level compared to PE100. Since slow crack growth is one of the most common causes of pressure pipe fracture, a high resistance to this type of damage is crucial for the service life of the pipe system, and thus its sustainability.
